Will it sound robotic?
No — it uses natural, premium voices, and in most calls people simply don't notice. You'll hear it yourself before going live, and you choose the voice. Callers are also told the call is recorded and handled by an assistant, so nobody is misled.
What happens when it can't answer something?
It does what a good receptionist does: takes the caller's name, number, and message, tells them when to expect a call back, and sends you the details instantly by SMS and email. It never bluffs an answer it doesn't have.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number. Calls are forwarded to the AI — either every call, or only the ones you can't answer (after a few rings, or out of hours). You can change the forwarding rule any time from your handset.
Is recording calls legal?
Yes, when done properly — callers are told at the start of the call that it's recorded, and recordings are handled in line with UK GDPR. That compliance setup is part of what the setup fee covers, and the details are in our Privacy Policy.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. It's a rolling monthly agreement — leave with 30 days' notice, no exit fees. The only non-refundable part is the setup fee once the build has started, because that work is done for you specifically.
How long until it's live?
About a week from our first chat, most of which is training and testing. You go live only when you've called it yourself and you're happy with how it handles your callers.
